After tariffs rose to the highest levels in centuries, the U.S. lost tens of thousands of manufacturing jobs this year. As part of a video series on Trump’s second term, The Wall Street Journal’s Gavin Bade visited AlphaUSA to take a deep look into how Trump’s tariffs are impacting Automotive Manufacturers.
AlphaUSA President, Chuck Dardas, gave Gavin a tour of the facilities and emphasized the importance of policy change. “…these tariffs are not just a tax; they are an existential threat.” said Dardas when asked how steel tariffs impact small/medium sized manufacturers.
